Dreamer...Often Lucid...but still a dreamer...

Dreamer...Often Lucid...
but still a dreamer...

I often have Lucid dreams, some of them are more lucid than others but I Have always pay to dreams the attention they deserve; One night I dreamed I Was searching on a bunch of records and in the middle there was a Syd Barret's 45.The Song was called "It's a Lonely Travel"
and it was a double sided promo copy that I carried home with me when I played the record started to sound a song I've never heard in my entire life and then...SOMEBODY WAKED ME...But I remember the chorus of the song and maybe someday I will Recorded it myself...

Something similar happened last night...

I'am an experimented oneironaut and I was having fun in my dream (you know the kind of things that lucid dreamers do )when suddenly I stepped into an hospital and I don't know why I was feeling in need of listening a good record..so I made a wish .. I said: I want my record player and the record The Beach Boys made in an alternative dimension to following the success of "SMiLE" and "Pet Sounds" and I had found My turntable and the record inside of a wardrobe...I started to play that record which I Can't remember the name becouse it hadn't artwork just the capitol red label and the inscription "THE BEACH BOYS,1968 Produced By Brian Wilson"

Photo found on the internet of an album similar to the one that appeared in my dream

...Oh my....the first song it was damn good it had a very modern sound for it's time it sounded like a song that could perfectly fit on ELO's "A New World Record"...I just wanted to wake up and record a demo of it...but when I waked...it was too early to make noise... my little son was sleeping with his mom.. it was 3 in the morning...I was expecting to not forget the song as happened with the Syd's one but this time The song is gone forever... :(

Believe it or not but It is not the first time I hear music in my lucid dreams...often I look for a transistor and I spend some time listening... if it sounds something interesting I make my best to wake up and record the song with my guitar or my piano... that is the origin of several of my songs...

Sometimes we don't pay the atention dreams deserve and it's a shame cause' they can be the answer to many everyday cuestions and also they are another reality... when you're dreaming you find that world as real as the daytime world and before I finish I want to ask you something...do you know why we dream?....
